Frozen Banana submitted by: Tommy D. Instead of throwing away bananas that are becoming over ripe try this. Peel and slice into bite size pieces, put them into a container or baggie and place in freezer. When you feel like snacking or it's time for dessert just take out and eat. A medium size banana is about 110 calories and a healthy source of fiber. |
Yogurt Sunday Submitted by: Jimmy L. 1 cup Organic Stonyfield French Vanilla Yogurt (fat free) 1 tablespoon of Heartland Original Granola 1/4 cup Sun-Maid Raisins (craisins are a nice substitute) Mix the above in a coffee mug and enjoy. I find if I use a bowl I fill it up and calories start to add up. Don't go crazy with granola a 1/2 cup is 240 calories. |
